I am Ed Baker I have been using, deploying and actively evangelising Microsoft Server and Client operating systems since

From that you can deduce two things, I am old and have some stamina.

For the last several years I have been dividing my time between teaching (as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft IT Academy Instructor as well as an Open University Lecturer) and consulting with Small businesses using Microsoft products.

I am a Microsoft Partner, Small Business Specialist and currently employed as an Instructor for the leading  Gold Learning Partner Firebrand Training.

I have been an MCP since 1997 and currently hold a good few of Microsofts premier certifications.

I am thoroughly and quite childishly excited about the next 12 months in the world of Microsoft.

SQL Server 2012, System Center 2012, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, Exchange Server 2013, Office 2013 – the list goes on.

It would be good if you could join me on this journey of no little excitement.
